Farmers markets, open houses, theme concerts, horse shows, weddings, receptions, fairs, events at ranches, and live radio shows, are among the many venues Greg plays for. With his diverse music repertoire, and the added ability to improvise and compose music on the fly, Greg’s music is a natural for these events and more. Greg has been a regular at the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton, CA since 2001, a regular performer at Hagemann Ranch open house events in Livermore, CA, and performed at Farmer's Markets, performed for horse shows, and has done many in home parties.

Greg’s music is perfect for wineries / restaurants and related businesses because not only does he have a huge, diverse repertoire, but his set up is simple, usually just involving the digital piano and a pair of speakers spaced apart on pedestals, and a speaking mic. If an in-house piano is provided, it is an even simpler set up. Greg has played for a nice variety of establishments and his music is received very well.

Since Greg can improvise and compose music on the spot, playing music for silent films is a natural for him. In early 2005, he auditioned to play for the silent film showings at The Niles Essanay Silent Movie Theater in the historic Niles District of Fremont, California, and has been a regular there ever since. Retirement centers, churches and other organizations have hired him to play for silent movie showings as well, as a result.
"I want to thank each person that helps operate the Niles Essanay Silent Film Theater and Museum in the historic Niles District of Fremont, California. You do an outstanding job! To be
able to get to improvise and compose music on the spot in the setting that this ability is the most right for, well, it is extremely fulfilling and fun! There is no doubt that the way I learned and my first early playing repertoire, prepared me for this wonderful opportunity!"
"THE NILES ESSANAY SILENT FILM THEATER & MUSEUM gets the award from me as "BEST CLIENT", which really does not say enough for what this place has meant to me as a musician. The year my website has been released (2025) marks my over 20 years playing for them as well as their 20+ years anniversary since they opened!"

"You play the piano the way it's meant to be played", is a comment that Greg has heard audience members tell him more than once after a concert performance at senior centers.
"You never have to patronize seniors when performing music. Just be yourself and play good passionate music, and for the most part, it will be a rewarding experience for everyone! I used to fear playing at Senior Centers when I was a kid when I was asked to. But I have grown to love playing these events due to their zest for being entertained and lively responses to hearing the variety of music I prepare for them! I always see a great energy level and happiness when I am greeting the people in the audiences after the performance."

Greg played the Steinway Grand Piano for 7 years at Nordstrom in Pleasanton, Ca., and used this opportunity to help with expanding his professional music endeavors. As a result of playing at Nordstroms, Greg got hired to do many weddings, receptions, and special events during his time there in the 1990’s. He has also played for real estate showings over the years as well, and for many corporate parties. While being an employee at Triad Systems in Livermore, Ca, he got hired for numerous off-site parties for several departments of the company. In 1990 the CEO purchased a large amount of his first album on cassette tape called "A Celebration of Christmas", and distributed it as door prizes to employees. In addition, the CEO had the music played out over the intercom in the last couple of days before the Christmas break. "I was thrilled to find out the whole company was going to get to hear my music."

Greg has many years of experience playing music in a variety of ministries and churches. He has served as lead musician on worship teams such as Calvary Chapel (formerly of Livermore, Ca), for over 4 years, and on the Cornerstone Fellowship’s Singles Worship Team (also Livermore) for 8 years, also providing special music for services for many churches and ministries, and has even done music for prison ministry services.
Greg is gifted in choosing the music from not only a music standpoint, but a spiritual aspect as well and uses his “variety of good music” philosophy for music to invoke and invite the Spirit of God into all the music he plays, whether in a ministry setting or otherwise. "Music should not be mundane, but rather should be uplifting, varied and melodic, especially in a ministry setting."
