The fantastic instrumental music of Yanni like “True Nature” and “Santorini” started arriving on the scene in the 1990’s, so I include that here along with older music like “La Mattchiche” (The Woman) and “Valencia”. “La Mattchiche” is a fun French piece I learned off a player roll years ago. It was used in the classic movie, “Around the World in 80 days.” One of the most beloved instrumental pieces played on a variety of radio stations is “Music Box Dancer” by Frank Mills. This song still creates a warm vibe and is a thrill to play! One of the most passionate Irish pieces I have ever heard is “Caledonia” by Celtic Thunder, so it is on my playlist here as well.
